Nashville, Tenn. (Wednesday, February 15, 2012) – Country music fans in Bloomington, IL have spoken, and they simply can’t get enough of Eric Church. Over 7,000 tickets were sold in just 30 minutes after the on-sale began for the previously-announced concert taking place Saturday, April 28 at the US Cellular Coliseum, making the show an immediate sell-out. To meet the incessant local demand, Church has booked a second show at the same venue the following night, Sunday, April 29 at 7 p.m. with special guests Colt Ford and Blackberry Smoke as part of The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.* "We are extremely happy with central Illinois' huge response to this tour coming to Bloomington and are glad we're able to add a second show for the fans who missed out on getting tickets the first one," says the show's promoter, Kendall Maffett of National Shows 2. Church recently told The Tennessean fans can expect an old-school setting at the show with “an energy that’s palpable.” The Los Angeles Times noted his as “a style honed on the road.” Church Choir members can purchase tickets in a special pre-sale beginning Tuesday, February 21 at 10 a.m. (local time), and tickets go on-sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. (local time).
